All that matters is how you see yourself – Stan Lee

MARKETING GEAR’D MIND

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but IT, along with NEED is the mother of invention. Observing trends, a passion for learning, creativity with a dash of quirkiness, and continuously asking the question, “Is there a better way?” has driven innovation. This is how I have lived my life and career from the very beginning; from my early days in advertising, graphic design and marketing, to brand building for companies and individuals, original clothing, t-shirt and product design.

An early example of this marketing awareness goes as far back as my senior year as a Fremont High School Featherette when I drafted a letter to Nike Corporation requesting a “sponsorship” for our team that trained in their timeless Cortez style shoe.

SHIFTING GEARS

My interest in advertising and design became piqued during a college internship and while modeling for Helen of Troy. Drawn to the creativity taking place behind the scenes, I began integrating myself into the art direction of photo shoots and rubbing elbows with creative directors, photographers and graphic designers—studying the composite drawings from my shoots and asking questions about initial concepts and overall advertising strategies. While on location, I decided to leave the University where I majored in marketing, to relocate and study advertising and graphic design.

Up until this point, my experience has been solely in retail, tech, and nonprofit advertising, design, marketing and brand building, but has now expanded to original product design and creation, and personal branding for individuals that want to find, market and live their passion.
